4. For Once India Got It Right, the DRS! (In Fielding)

For once, India managed a review right. Out of the many unsuccessful calls, Virat Kohli appealed for, he surprisingly had one turning into his favour while fielding. On day one, Australia’s Shaun Marsh had a thin edge on his bat which travelled to Pujara, who grabbed it safely. Marsh was earlier adjudged not out.
Seemed too confident to go wrong, Ashwin provoked Virat Kohli to go for the review, and hey, it went right. The umpire changed its decision to out and team India were left happy.
Though, the relation between them (India & DRS) appeared to have changed a lot after two horrendous Test matches. In this one, Virat looked more in control while asking for a review, but missed out one, during Maxwell’s batting, where he left the ball which kissed his gloved and rushed straight into the hands of slips.
Much to India’s disappointment, the review wasn’t taken and Glenn Maxwell made the best of it. At stumps, he had 83 runs on his back, most by him in Test cricket so far.
