2. Saha – Smith Coziness!
Steven Smith has been India’s nemesis in the series so far with two hundreds and more importantly as a result oriented opposing leader. In the quest to put a stop on his leaking runs, wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha thought of getting a bit too close, a bit cosy maybe, and Smith didn’t like it. Of course, he won’t.
The incident which even had the umpires in splits happened minutes before Smith notched up a triple figure on day one. Bowling around the wicket, Jadeja trapped Smith and the ball was left stuck between his legs. In a manner which didn’t appear too professional then, Saha had his hands near Smith’s hips, though, he had the ball but both the players were found lying down almost on each other after that.
Smiles were all around and it was nice to see something different apart from words being exchanged, happening on a cricket field
