Trailing the series by 1-0 after losing the first T20I at Visakhapatnam, India now must have to win the Bengaluru T20I to save the series from the visiting side Australia. Now, the former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has predicted India’s playing XI for the upcoming Bengaluru T20I.
On Sunday (24 February), India suffered defeat in a last-ball low-scoring first T20I. After Australia sent them to bat first, the host side managed to score 126/7 in 20 overs. In the top-order, KL Rahul (50) and the skipper Virat Kohli (24) played the good knocks while MS Dhoni (29*) was the other man to reach the double-digit score in that innings.
In reply, after a poor start of 5/2, Australian batsmen D’Arcy Short and Glenn Maxwell carried the side to the strong position with an 84-run partnership for the third wicket. However, in the late moment of the game, India was back on track after breaking that third-wicket partnership. In the last over, Australia needed 14 runs to win, and they snatched the victory on the final ball of the match.
Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah once again shone with the ball in hand as his bowling figures were 4-0-16-3. However, the host side just failed to win that game as Umesh Yadav just failed to defend the 14 runs in the final over.

Ajay Jadeja spoke about three possible changes in India’s playing XI for the Bengaluru T20I
India will play the second and final T20I of this home series against Australia on Wednesday (27 February) at Bengaluru. While Australia is leading the series by 1-0, India must have to win to save this series.
Ajay Jadeja feels that India may consider maximum three changes in the playing XI for the second T20I. However, he further mentioned that none of these changes would happen because of the performances. Talking to Cricbuzz, he revealed India’s predicted XI for the Bengaluru T20I.

Ajay Jadeja firmly believes that Siddarth Kaul will replace Umesh Yadav as per recent pace-bowling rotation policy. On the other hand, he also feels that Vijay Shankar may replace either Rishabh Pant or Dinesh Karthik. Meanwhile, he also thinks that Shikhar Dhawan may join as the replacement of Rohit Sharma.
