India vs Australia 2019: 5th ODI, Delhi – India’s Predicted XI
India vs Australia 2019: 5th ODI, Delhi – India’s Predicted XI; It wasn’t a great day at the office for Indian National Cricket Team on the other night at Mohali and Ranchi. They have been outclassed by the visitors in the high-scoring games thus letting down the advantage of winning the first couple of ODI games. Meanwhile, we figured out India’s Predicted XI for the final ODI game of the series.
Here are they:
1. Shikhar Dhawan:
The left-handed batsman has played brilliantly in the fourth ODI of the game. However, his stunning effort of 143 runs went in vain, as Australian batsmen changed the course of the game with their brilliance. He would like to carry on his form in the decider for India.
2. Rohit Sharma:
The vice-captain of India is back to his form in the last ODI game. He has been a scintillating performer over the years for India in the 50-over format, especially, in the decider games. Besides that, he got a stunning record against Australia, particularly, when the series is played at home.
3. KL Rahul:
The right-handed batsman might once again get a go at number 3 for the team. It would be his final audition before getting the nod for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019. The flamboyant batsman has done enough in T20I series but yet to perform in ODI format of the game.
4. Virat Kohli:
The Indian skipper is in a fine form for India. With the final ODI being a decider or the series, he would certainly be the cynosure of the eyes. In between, the final ODI will be played at his home, which would certainly boost his chances for India. Apart from his batting,. his captaincy skills will be tested as well.
5. Rishabh Pant:
He had a poor time with the gloves on other night. However, he is yet another player, who has been named in the squad solely to test his calibre in order to pick for ICC World Cup 2019. His performances in the series will be noted down on the table by Indian selectors. So, surely, he is going to take his stake in the playing XI.
6. Kedar Jadhav:
The golden player for Indian National Cricket Team will certainly grab a place in the side. He has been the decent striker of the ball and got the knack of scoring runs at quick pace. But, in the last couple of games, Kedar Jadhav failed to show his mojo for the team. However, he would once again be the cynosure of the eyes.
7. Vijay Shankar:
It would be another audition for Vijay Shankar in the final ODI at Delhi. So far, he has been decent enough with the bat and ball for India. He bowled those useful overs and showed his brilliance with the willow, whenever the team is in trouble.
8. Yuzvendra Chahal:
The leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal will be one of the key players in the ODI decider. His performance will make a massive impact on the game for India. He was in a decent touch in the 50-over format and will be crucial for India to pick wickets in the middle overs.
9. Kuldeep Yadav:
The chinaman bowler will be the key player to watch out in the final ODI. He always had a sensational time in the middle against Australia. Perhaps, he can be the difference for both the sides. Kuldeep Yadav got the calibre of turning the tables in a quick time.
10. Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
Well, he looked pretty ordinary at the death in the last ODI game. However, India must go with him for the final ODI, as Shami got an injury scare in the third ODI at Ranchi. India might not push Shami to take part in the game, thus, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be in the middle. Despite death bowling, he is threatening with the new ball.
11. Jasprit Bumrah:
Yet another player, who can make an impact on the game. His performance will be one of the crucial factors for India behind the win or a loss for the team. The flamboyant cricketer has done exceptionally well in the recent past and would like to deliver in the deciding ODI as well.
