India vs Australia 2019: 5th ODI, Delhi – Weather Forecast; After the scintillating ODI game, now, it is time for the final Showdown in the series ahead of the Indian Premier League 2019. Both the sides have bagged their moments to see the series scoreline read 2-2 thus letting a way for the intriguing decider at Delhi.
A cracker of the contest is on its way:
For India, there was much talk about the World Cup and giving new faces an opportunity to take up the mantle, but now the team management would want to focus all their energy into winning this series.
On the other hand, Australia clinched the victory from the jaw of a defeat at Mohali in the record chase. From 2-0 down to equalling the series at 2-2, Australia has completed an extraordinary turnaround in the five matches ODI series against India.
Winning the fourth ODI in emphatic style, Australia now got the upper hand going into the fifth and final ODI at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. The form of Peter Handscomb and Usman Khawaja is a pleasing sight for Australia. Meanwhile, Ashton Turner turned out to be their find of the series.
The Australian pace bowlers also did a fine job, restricting the opposition to 358 in 50 overs. At one moment, it seemed like India would reach 400 but a few boundary-less overs at the death resulted in the team’s failure to cross the 360-run mark.
Coming back to India, they might play the same team for the final clash as well. They have always been fantastic when it comes to deciders, especially, in ODI format of the game. The only concern for the team would be the fifth bowling option, as Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar are leaking runs for the team.
Virat Kohli would like to make the most of the home conditions:
After the home return of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, now, it is a homecoming for Virat Kohli. He would like to entertain his fans with a decent show with the bat. Besides him, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant would be excited to show their worth for the team, as they knew conditions better.
