India vs Australia 2019: Two Possible Changes For India In The Final ODI
Mar 12, 2019 at 4:24 PM
Perhaps, the Indian National Cricket Team wouldn’t have imagined that they would be playing the decider ODI, especially, after securing victory in an initial couple of games. It has been a great turnaround from Australians, who pulled a couple of consecutive games to make things interesting for the final ODI of the game at Delhi. Meanwhile, we figured out two possible changes for the final ODI.
Here are they:
2. Ravindra Jadeja might replace Kedar Jadhav:
Well, after the man of the match performance in the first ODI game, Kedar Jadhav looked pretty ordinary for the team. He failed to score runs for the team and couldn’t deliver the goods with the ball. Apart from that, India is seriously struggling for their fifth bowler option, which was made perfect use by Australian Cricket Team.
In addition, it would also be the final chance for Ravindra Jadeja to prove his worth in order to press his case for the ICC World Cup 2019. If Jadeja gets the nod in the playing XI, India would certainly cover their negative aspect.
If Kedar is out from the playing XI, Vijay Shankar will get the chance to play higher in the batting order, which would also be a good scenario for the team in obvious ways.
1. Ambati Rayudu might be back with Virat Kohli at number 3:
Another possible change could be the addition of Ambati Rayudu back in the side. The flamboyant batsman has been out of the team with three consecutive failures. It would certainly allow Virat Kohli to bat at number 3 for the team.
As the game at Delhi being the decider of the series, the Indian skipper would want to bat at the position, which gave him a huge success over the years. Meanwhile, it would be unfair for KL Rahul, who got only one game in the series so far.
But, as it is the must-win clash, the Indian management might not risk with the experiments. All in all, it would be interesting to see the final call of the Indian Team. Mind you, this is the final ODI ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019.
