Dropped for the third game, Pandey looked extremely ordinary in this series. After missing out on a golden chance at Kanpur, Pandey struggled miserably at Nagpur, as he failed to even time to the ball. Keeping in mind the stiff competition, Pandey did himself no favor this series.
