A poor outing in the first game at Kanpur was overlooked as Rahul came to the party on a venomous track at Nagpur to score a rocketing half-century. In the second game, Rahul scored more than 50% of the team total and it was his superlative show which got the hosts to a defend-able total. The elegant opener was unfortunate to miss out at Bengaluru, as he was dismissed on a no-ball.
