- English pacer Ben Stokes bowled very well during India’s 1st innings of this Test as his final bowling figure in that innings was 26.2-5-73-5. Stokes became only second English pacer in last 31 years who claimed 5-wicket haul in a Test innings on the Indian soil. The another one in this list was Matthew Hoggard (6/57 at Nagpur in 2006).
