The southpaw, who was making a comeback into the Indian team, tipped England star Joe Root to take this position in this team. Root was the highest run-getter in the series but his failure to finish the games after being well-set has titled the balance in Raina’s favour. The Uttar Pradesh ace scored 34 in the opening game, followed by seven in the second match before a brilliant 63 in Bengaluru that helped India post a massive 202.
