India and New Zealand lock horns in the final limited-overs fixtures of the series on Tuesday. After getting hammered in the T20Is, the home team has made a comeback in the ODIs and have already won the series with two wins in the bag so far. They would be eyeing a befitting revenge by winning the third ODI as well.

India, who have now lost three back to back ODIs against NZ, will eye to break the losing streak before the start of the Test series. On their previous tour, Men in Blue had won the five-match ODI series 4-1.

Conditions –

Yes, it is a high scoring ground but a score of 300 would be enough to defend. Both the teams might be happy to bat first at this ground.

Virat Kohli might make a couple of changes to the playing XI. Rishabh Pant, who is yet to play a game on the tour, might come in as a specialist batsman. Kedar Jadhav is likely to make way for Manish Pandey or Shivam Dube. One can expect the team management to rest Jasprit Bumrah as he has played all seven games on the tour so far.

The home team couldn’t manage to get 11 players on the field on the previous game, which saw their fielding coach Luke Ronchi taking the field. To avoid such a situation, they have called up Ish Sodhi and Blair Tickner for the final ODI. Also, Kane  Williamson is now fit and set to play the third ODI.
