India Vs South Africa 2019/20: Third Test – MS Dhoni May Present To Enjoy Day One

From Saturday (19th October), South Africa will play the third and final Test of the ongoing series against the hosts India at JSCA International Stadium Complex (Ranchi). Former Indian captain and local national star, MS Dhoni is likely to present in the ground on the opening day of this Test match.

The visitors South Africa are currently busy in India for the Test series. In the ongoing tour, South Africa have already played the three-match T20I series and now they are playing the three-match Test series.

The T20I series had the levelling result by 1-1. However, the hosts India are dominating in the ongoing Test series. Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium (Vishakhapatnam) hosted the first Test of this series. Indian team played powerful cricket and secured a victory by 203 runs.

They played the second Test of this series at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium (Pune). Once again the hosts dominated under the leadership of Virat Kohli. India secured this Test series by winning this Test by an innings and 137 runs. With this victory, India are leading this Test series by 2-0 with one to go.

Now, both teams are ready for the third and final Test of this series. JSCA International Stadium Complex (Ranchi) is ready to organise this Test match from Saturday morning. It is the city of former Indian World Cup-winning captain and present limited-overs cricketer MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni will return Ranchi on Saturday morning

It is the only second Test match at JSCA International Stadium Complex (Ranchi). According to recent media reports, MS Dhoni is likely to come to the stadium on Saturday, the opening day of this Test match.

According to an IANS report, Dhoni and Mihir Diwakar, the former Jharkhand captain, are likely to come to Ranchi from Mumbai on Saturday morning. That report further added the expectation of Dhoni’s presence on the ground on the same day.

After the heartbreaking semi-final defeat against New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, MS Dhoni hasn’t played a professional cricket match yet. The former Indian captain hasn’t made himself available for the international cricket for more than last three months. He hasn’t even clarified about his future in cricket.

Due to his silence about the future, the retirement speculation is growing up. However, the BCCI is continuously denying Dhoni’s retirement plan soon.
