Krishnappa Gowtham –
The Karnataka all-rounder has been knocking the doors for long with his performances in domestic cricket and has come in the scheme of things. Yes, India do have three quality spinners (Washington Sundar, Chahal, Kuldeep) but none of them can do power-hitting as Gowtham does. Though he missed out on selection for the West Indies series, a good show in IPL can see him make it to the national team for World Cup.
He was traded to Kings XI Punjab by Rajasthan Royals last week.
