While international cricket is more than 140-year-old, which began in 1877, we have seen many cricketers who were born in one country, but played international cricket for another country.

Majid Khan (Pakistan)
Former Pakistan cricketer Majid Khan is the son of Jahangir Khan (who was a part of India’s first Test-playing XI), cousin of former Pakistan World Cup-winning captain and present Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. On 28th September 1946, Majid Khan was born in Ludhiana (Punjab, India).
However, Majid grew up in Lahore, the capital of Punjab in Pakistan. Though Majid started his cricket career as a pace bowler, he later became a right-handed batsman and off-spinner due to back injury. He served for Pakistan between 1964 and 1983 where he played 63 Tests and 23 ODIs. The right-handed batsman scored 3931 Test runs and 786 ODI runs. Also, he picked up 27 Test wickets and 13 ODI wickets. he also led the Pakistan team in three Tests and two ODIs from 1973 to 1975.
In 1995, Majid Khan also experienced as the Test match referee in four matches.
