Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji (England)

The former right-handed batsman Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji was the Indian-born England cricketer. On 13th June 1905, Duleepsinhji was born in Sarodar (Kathiawar, India).
In June 1929, Duleepsinhji made his international debut for England during the Birmingham Test against South Africa. While he served for England cricket team till 1931, the right-handed batsman scored 995 runs in 12 Tests with an average of 58.52, including three centuries and five centuries. During his international career, India didn’t debut in Test cricket.
In the first-class career, Duleepsinhji scored 15485 runs in 205 matches with an average of 49.95, including 50 centuries and 64 half-centuries. His best first-class knock was 333 runs.
The Indian domestic first-class competition Duleep Trophy has been named after Duleepsinhji, which was originally a zonal-based tournament.
