During the 2020/21 Australia tour, the 35-year-old Wriddhiman Saha will have to fight with the youngster Rishabh Pant to earn an opportunity in the Test playing XI. Saha completely missed out the 2018/19 Australia tour due to the injury, so, the senior wicket-keeper will be desperate to feature in the forthcoming Australia tour. There is no doubt about his wicketkeeping skills, but Saha needs to perform better with the bat.

In the IPL 2020, Saha will serve for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). As the team has the wicket-keeper like English star Jonny Bairstow, Saha is likely to be the second-choice wicket-keeper for the team. He has to utilise the early opportunities in the IPL 2020 as weak performances can destroy his position in the Indian Test squad.
