Cheteshwar Pujara

While India won their first-ever Test series in Australia during the 2018/19 tour, Cheteshwar Pujara played the most crucial role in the Indian batting during that entire Test series. His unshakable patience batting made the Aussie bowlers helpless. In that tour, Pujara scored 521 runs in seven innings with an average of 74.42, including three centuries and one half-century. At the end of that series, while India won that away series by the 2-1 margin, Pujara won the Player of the Series award after finishing as the leading run-scorer.
Pujara, who last time played an IPL match in the 2014 season, will also miss out the IPL 2020 as he was unsold during the 2020 IPL auction. So, during the IPL 2020, the right-handed batsman can fully focus on his preparation for the Test series in the 2020/21 Australia tour. The success of the Indian team in the forthcoming Australia tour is widely depended on this experienced right-handed batsman.
