Ravindra Jadeja, all-rounder

The all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja only played the final of the 2016/17 Duleep Trophy. Playing for India Blue, the left-handed batsman Jadeja scored 48 and 17 runs against India Red in that final.

As a left-arm spinner, Jadeja shined as he scalped ten wickets in that game. In that game, he had the bowling figures of 34-9-95-5 and 18.1-2-76-5. Jadeja became the first Indian to claim the ten-wicket haul in the day-night pink-ball first-class match.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav, five-for

The left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav was the leading wicket-taker in the 2016/17 Duleep Trophy. Playing for India Red in all the three-matches, Kuldeep managed to pick up 17 wickets with an average of 27.88.

In the opening game of that tournament against India Green, he had the match-winning bowling figures of 15-4-32-3 and 18-1-88-6. Against India Blue in the rain-interrupted game, Kuldeep managed the bowling figures of 23-2-78-4.

In the final against India Blue, Kuldeep was very expensive in the first innings as he had the bowling figures of 44-2-214-1. During India Blue’s second innings of that game, Kuldeep managed the respectable bowling figures of 19-2-62-3.
