Pragyan Ojha
It was India’s opening game in the ICC World T20 2009 against Bangladesh (Group A) at Nottingham on 6th June 2009. Indian captain MS Dhoni decided to bat first after winning the toss and scored 180/5 (20 overs). Gautam Gambhir scored 50 runs and also Yuvraj Singh played a firing knock of 41 runs off 18 balls (3 fours and 4 sixes).
Later the Indian bowlers restricted Bangladesh on 155/8 (20 overs). The left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha, who made his T20I debut in that game, had the bowling figures of 4-0-21-4. Due to his outstanding bowling performance, Ojha won the Player of the Match award.
