Indian Cricketers React On The Pulwama Terrorist Attack

On Thursday (14 February), a suicide bomber attacked with an explosive-laden vehicle into a CRPF bus in Pulwama district (Jammu and Kashmir). More than 40 soldiers have lost their lives, and many are critically injured. The Pakistan-based terrorist organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed carried out that attack.

The whole world has condemned on that coward incident. The Indian cricket family have also cried out over that incident and came out to support the Indian soldiers.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shocked

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli posted on his official Twitter account, “I’m shocked after hearing about the attack in Pulwama, heartfelt condolences to the martyred soldiers & prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured jawaans.”

The Indian limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma wrote on his official Twitter account, “Shocked and horrified by what happened #Pulwama. The day we all celebrated love some cowards spread hatred. Thinking about the jawans and their families. India keep them in your prayers.”

Deeply saddened and disturbed by the news: Shikhar Dhawan

Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan wrote, “Deeply saddened and disturbed by the news. I condemn the terror attack in #Pulwama. My condolences to the families of the jawans who sacrificed their lives.”

Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan have also come up with saddened messages

Suresh Raina wrote, “Appalled and deeply disturbed by the news of CRPF jawans killed in Kashmir’s Pulwama. My thoughts and prayers with the martyrs’ families.”

The off-spinner Harbhajan Singh wrote, “My heart goes out for our Jawans who lost their lives as martyrs to save our country! condolences to all the families who today lost a son, husband, father or brother.. as a nation we cry.. as a nation we unite!”

The Indian left-arm pacer Irfan Pathan posted, “Really Saddened to hear abt the attack in #Pulawama on #CRPFConvoy wishing speedy recovery to those who got injured”

 

Virender Sehwag: Sudhar Jaao Warna Sudhaar Denge

The former explosive Indian opener Virender Sehwag wrote, “Really pained by the cowardly attack on our CRPF in J&K in which our brave men have been martyred . No words are enough to describe the pain. I wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
#SudharJaaoWarnaSudhaarDenge”

Gautam Gambhir wants to talk differently with the separatists

On the other hand, another former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir wrote, “Yes, let’s talk with the separatists. Yes, let’s talk with Pakistan. But this time conversation can’t be on the table, it has to be in a battle ground. Enough is enough. 18 CRPF personnel killed in IED blast on Srinagar-Jammu highway”

 

Mohammad Kaif and VVS Laxman also posted their sad thought

The former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif wrote, “Really pained to hear about the attack on our #CRPF men who have been martyred in the attack in J&K. I pray the coward attackers are taught a lesson at the earliest.”

The former Test specialist Indian batsman VVS Laxman also came with a sad tweet. He wrote, “Sad and pained to hear about the dastardly attack on our brave CRPF men in #Pulwama in which many of our jawans have been martyred . I pray for a quick and speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.”

Woke up to the terrible terrible news: Aakash Chopra

Another former Indian Test specialist opener Aakash Chopra woke up with the terrible news. He wrote, “Woke up to the terrible terrible news. Thoughts and prayers with the soldiers and their families. #PulawamaTerrorAttack”

We need to retaliate: Vinod Kambli

Another former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli had strongly criticised that incident. He wrote, “I strongly condemn what happened yesterday to our brave CRPF Jawans in Pulwama. It is absolutely despicable. My heartfelt condolences to all the families of the martyrs. These attacks can’t continue and we need to retaliate. #PulwamaAttack”
