The 40-year-old veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was one of the greatest off-spinners in international cricket history. In his international career, he took 711 wickets in 367 international matches. He is the only second Indian cricketer to manage 700+ international wickets.

The off-spinner was a member during MS Dhoni-led Indian team’s victory in the ICC World T20 2007 and ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

However, he hasn’t got a chance to serve for the national team after his last appearance for India in the Asia Cup 2016 (against UAE during Dhaka T20Is on 3rd March 2016).

Currently, Harbhajan is also not featuring in domestic cricket. While he played the first-class cricket and List A matches for the last time in 2017, he served for Punjab in the T20 cricket for the last time during the 2018/19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

The veteran off-spinner now only plays the IPL. In the IPL 2019, he performed well as he bagged 16 wickets in 11 matches. He is also hoping to perform well in the upcoming IPL 2020. But later, if he wants to feature in the foreign leagues, he will have to take the retirement from the Indian cricket.
