Five players who could win Sri Lanka Test series against India

Following a T20I series win against Bangladesh, India will host the visitors in a two-match Test series starting November 14. The first Test will be played in Indore while the action will move to Kolkata for the second Test, where both the teams will also make their pink ball debut. The Bangladesh team sans Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal does not possess any major threat to team India and the home side is expected to dominate ‘The Tigers’ in the longest format as well.

The Indian selectors had retained the same squad for the Bangladesh series which played against South Africa and any major changes are unlikely to happen in the playing XI. Shubman Gill’s wait to make his Test debut is expected to continue while Rishabh Pant is unlikely to get a place in the playing XI.

Here’s a look at team India’s likely playing XI for Indore Test –
