Most international runs
Sachin Tendulkar is also holding the record of scoring most international runs as well as most Test and ODI runs. The right-handed batsman scored 34357 international runs, while the second most international run-scorer, former Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman Kumar Sangakkara scored 28016 international runs. While Tendulkar scored 18426 ODI runs, the left-handed batsman Sangakkara is again in the next position in this particular list with 14234 ODI runs.
On the other hand, Tendulkar recorded 15921 runs in Test career, while the former Australian cricketer Ricky Ponting is in the next position in the list of most Test run-scorer with 13378 Test runs.
