Best bowling figures in a T20I match
On 10th November 2019, during the Nagpur T20I against Bangladesh, Indian pacer Deepak Chahar created a new world record by achieving the best bowling figures in T20I match history. At the end of that match, Chahar became the first Indian bowler to claim a T20I hat-trick and finished with the record-breaking bowling figures of 3.2-0-7-6.
The previous best record was 4-2-8-6 by the former Sri Lankan off-spinner Ajantha Mendis against Zimbabwe at Hambantota on 18th September 2012.
