On Sunday (17/04/2016) afternoon, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will take on Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS) in the IPL 2016 at their home ground Mohali.

KXIP is still searching their first win in the IPL 2016 as they lost their first 2 matches in this tournament. On the other hand, the new IPL team RPS won their opening game against Mumbai Indians but suffered a defeat in the next game against another new IPL team Gujarat Lions.

KXIP is suffering a serious batting trouble in the very beginning of the tournament. In the first game, KXIP’s openers started very well but the other fellow cricketers failed to capitalize that. In the next match, the whole batting line-up struggled against the opponent bowlers.

On the other hand, RPS has a good batting strength but the bowling strength is very limited and mainly depended on Indian bowlers. However, RPS won their first IPL game with the mostly help of their bowlers. However, they lost their second game against Gujarat Lions who batted in that match outclass.

KXIP or RPS both the teams are desperate to win the Sunday game. KXIP batsmen need to come in a form very quickly as Maxwell needs to end his bad patch at very soon. Maxwell scored 2 and 0 runs in the first two game of KXIP in IPL 2016.

On the other hand, RPS has a good squad but need to time to settle down as a team. However, how quickly they will do it, it will be better for them.
