Delhi Daredevils (DD) will play for pride as they will host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. The tourists have already qualified for the playoffs stages while Delhi is eliminated. Thus, today’s match is going to be a dead rubber.

However, Chennai will look build on to their impetus. Men in Yellow had defeated table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the last game and that performance must have added to their confidence.

Furthermore, Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led team will like to keep their momentum going before the crucial stages of the playoffs.

Chennai will look to continue their impetus.

Dhoni will not like to put this foot of the accelerator as he will like to enter the playoffs stages with as many wins as possible. Meanwhile, CSK batting unit has delivered the goods for their team.

CSK as a unit has been delivering goods and they have once done justice to their consistent tag.

Chennai has played in nine seasons thus far in IPL and they have qualified each and every time for the playoffs. Consequently, consistency and CSK in itself turned out to be synonyms in IPL folklore.

Delhi is expected more chances to youngsters:

On the other hand, it is yet another disappointing season for the Delhi Daredevils. However, they can draw some positives from their dismal edition.

Rishabh Pant has come of age with his performances and he is delivering consistent performances for the Delhi-based outfit.

As far as the team’s changes are concerned, Delhi Daredevils is expected to give opportunities to young players as they did in the last match.

However, Jason Roy can make way for Colin Munro. For Chennai Super Kings, they can bring in Lungi Ngidi in place of David Willey. The Proteas speedster had missed the last match as he was not fit.
