The final day of the league is set to be started with a must-win clash for defending champions against Delhi Daredevils. The win will take them to playoffs, hopefully, if other scenarios go in their way. On the other hand, there is nothing to lose for the home side.
Delhi Daredevils – Looks to spoil Mumbai’s party
The positive thing that could be for Delhi is that they haven’t got any pressure on their shoulders to be a worried team. They are already out of the tournament and the only thing left for them is to enjoy the game at their home ground.

The batting department is once again expected to be filled with youngsters in the team. Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant have been the pillars of the team while Prithvi Shaw is showing some class at the top order. The foreigners have been the biggest disappointment for Delhi as they have literally done nothing for the team.
Trent Boult has come good on a couple of occasions but the batting department has been a complete failure. However, it would be interesting to see whether Daredevils ask them to take the field in a dead rubber.
However, the previous performance against Chennai Super Kings would have lifted the souls in the team. They would like to finish the season with a win by giving a bad remembrance for Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians – Would like to go all their guns blazing
The win against Rajasthan Royals in the previous game would have lifted the souls in the unit. In a must-win game which would possibly open the doors for playoff, the defending champions would like come into the game with all their big fishes making a mark on the game.

There were no issues with their batting line-up as they have got a deep and talented batsmen in their ranks. However, top-order should take the responsibility at any cost in order to thump down Delhi Daredevils at their home venue. Though Surya Kumar Yadav is in a great touch,
Evin Lewis became a hit or miss kind of player for Mumbai while the form of Rohit Sharma is bothering the team like none other. However, the resurgence of Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya lifted the souls of Mumbai Indians dramatically.
Coming to the bowling department, the main pillar of the unit, Jasprit Bumrah has got back to his own while Mitchell McClenaghan and Pandya brothers are delivering the goods whenever it mattered the most. Markande impressed with his fine economical spells in the middle overs.
However, yet another scintillating game of cricket is at the store on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. With a lot of stars taking the field and shorter boundaries on offer, one can expect a high-scoring thriller at Feroz Shah Kotla.
