He has been the most valuable player in the tournament so far. His all-round showing has helped KKR reach the playoffs. The southpaw smashed a-17 ball half-century against Royal Challengers Bangalore earlier in the tournament and had looked consistent with the bat.
Even with the ball in hand, the mystery man has been quite phenomenal. He has bagged 16 wickets in 14 matches so far. However, he has gone for a few runs this season. An economy rate of 7.62 is impressive compared to other bowlers, but given his standard, it’s a bit too much. However, his wicket-taking abilities have set him apart.
