The Rajasthan Royals skipper hasn’t been at his usual best in the tournament so far.
He has been trolled by several people for his slow innings on many occasions. However, he has tried to be the sheet anchor while Jos Buttler has taken up the responsibility at the top of the order.
However, due to national commitments, Buttler had to leave which has now left a huge void at the top of the order. Hence he should open with Rahul Tripathi and try to get the visitors off to a good start.
Meanwhile has been impressive as a captain in the last few matches. Some of the decisions taken during RR’s matches in the recent past has been impressive.
He has made the correct bowling changes and has also played a perfect playing XI. His captaincy will also get tested in a knockout game for both teams.
