Glad to repay CSK for the opportunity: Watson
Additionally, in his spell, Watson conceded runs at only four per over to create havoc in the Royals’ camp, who decided not to retain him this season.
“There’s no doubt I had extra motivation tonight (against his former team). Grateful for the opportunity I’ve had for CSK. Glad to repay them tonight. Not sure, just one of those things that happened in the first couple of overs,” said the man of the match, Shane Watson.

“It went my way tonight, made the most of it. When you feel like you’re not learning, it’s time to stop. I’m still improving. MS and Fleming know how to set up a team dynamic,” Watto continued.
Also, Watson also had a word or two about the Universe Boss Chris Gayle who scored a ton against the Sunrisers on Thursday.
“Fortunate to be a part of CSK and to contribute to the win tonight. Chris is the greatest T20 batsman in the world. Also, that’s the reason he’s called the Universe Boss. He keeps bossing attacks around the world,” concluded Shane Watson.
