IPL 2018: Kolkata Knight Riders Releases Official Theme Song
IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders have released their official theme song “KKRHaiTaiyaar“. The team is one of the most successful franchises in the Indian Premier League over the past decade.
KKR have one of the best fan bases in the country. Ever since the inception of the league, the crowd pulling power of KKR was unparallel. The appeal of Sourav Ganguly and Shah Rukh Khan had worked in favour of the franchise in the initial years.
But the success that followed later ensured they had the loyal fan base over the years. The team had once again come up with “Korbo, Lorbo, Jeetbo” slogan going into the new season.
The video saw Shah Rukh Khan once again playing an active role in promoting the side’s slogan. Also, it was shot widely in Kolkata and iconic Eden Gardens.

Tough Times Going Into The New Season
Kolkata Knight Riders, however, had a tough time going into the new season. They had lost their star pace bowler Mitchell Starc. The Aussie pacer suffered tibial bone stress in his right leg.
But they had gone in for young England pace bowler Tom Curran to replace him. But the team looks thin. They do not have proper back up apart from the starting lineup.
Also, they do not have enough experience in their pace attack. With only Mitchell Johnson, Andre Russell as the two most reliable pacers in their bowling unit. They might also rely heavily on Under-19 World Cup sensation Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and also possess experienced campaigner like Vinay Kumar.
They had named Dinesh Karthik as their skipper going into IPL 11, which is another huge gamble. The Indian cricketer had not played a leaders role so far in his IPL career. The franchise will begin their quest against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.
