The second part of the Super Saturday saw a battle of the bottom in the points table between hosts Royal Challengers Bangalore clashing against a desperate Delhi Daredevils.
Rishabh Pant owned the first innings with his gem of a knock which took his side to a competitive total.
However, his knock fell short of the brilliance of AB de Villiers who announced his arrival this season with a man of the match performance.
Here is a look at the five game-changing moments from the match.
Shreyas Iyer getting back to his grooves

Before the start of the match, one man, Ricky Ponting might have a word or two with Shreyas Iyer who could not get his campaign going.
Iyer, who was retained by the Daredevils’ prior to the auctions, displayed exactly why his franchise backed his abilities in the first place.
The Mumbai International scored a breezy 56 off just 31 deliveries, entertaining the spectators with four boundaries and three sixes.
Rishabh Pant show

Daredevils were reduced to 23-2 within the powerplays in a game they were desperately trying to win.
This was when Rishabh Pant walked in to play one of the best knocks in the tournament.
Pant’s explosive knock came at a jaw-dropping strike rate of 178, containing a whopping seven sixes and six boundaries.
The flamboyant southpaw single-handedly took his side to a total of 174, with the help of his 48-ball 85, adding an extra 25 runs in the end.
RCB’s death bowling woes

RCB were looking at chasing down a target in the range of 150-160 before it all went wrong for Virat Kohli‘s side during the death.
The likes of Chris Woakes were taken to the cleaners by Pant and co. which gave 20-25 runs too many to the hosts.

Boult’s moment of brilliance

RCB’s chase of 175 turned out to be a Kohli-AB show, as the crowd saw their two favourites son match each other stroke for stroke.
But the Kiwis always make their presence felt in the tournament now and then with their brilliance on the field.
Trent Boult took a blinder at midwicket on the wrong hand, almost a foot above balancing against the ropes and completing the catch without touching the ropes.

AB- The Boss

The wicket of Kohli did not perturb AB de Villiers range of strokeplay, as he took his side across the finishing line with his 39-ball 90.
His knock, which came at a mind-boggling strike rate of 230, contained ten boundaries and fives sixes, to show who the boss is at Chinnaswamy.
The innings held importance for AB individually as well, as he has not got going in the season until now.
