IPL 2019: KRK Takes a Dig at Dinesh Karthik, Calls Him an Immature Captain
Controversial Bollywood actor and a self-proclaimed critic, Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK who has always been in the news for his controversial tweets on various aspects were back in the news with yet another controversial tweet targeting Kolkata Knight Riders and the skipper of the franchise Dinesh Karthik. KKR has slowly but surely gone down the points table after losing 6 matches on a trot.
During the earlier half of the tournament, KKR was at the top of the point table but are now are on the verge of elimination following their 6th straight defeat in the tournament. They were defeated by the Rajasthan Royals in the 43rd match of the tournament yesterday. After their loss, KRK took to his twitter handle and lashed out Dinesh Karthik call him an immature skipper. He also cited this as the reason behind the downfall of KKR this season.

Dinesh Karthik finally returned to some run-scoring form with his highest IPL score when he smashed 97 of just 50 deliveries against the Rajasthan Royals yesterday. He looked in sublime touch and took the onus on himself to get KKR to a competitive total. Despite the rare failure for Andre Russell, Karthik displayed a wide array of shots during his brilliant knock. His knock of 97 was studded with 7 fours and 9 sixes.
Later in the day, it was a match-winning innings from 17-year-old Riyan Parag who got the visitors over the line. Parag scored a quickfire 47 of 31 deliveries from a situation when KKR looked in a strong position to win the match.
After a great opening stand of 53 runs by Ajinkya Rahane and Sanju Samson, RR lost the plot in the middle overs courtesy some good bowling by Piyush Chawla and Sunil Narine. However, it was Riyan Parag and Jofra Archer who ensured that RR reached the target in the final over of the match.
