IPL

Well, here comes the good news for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League 2019. The flamboyant all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who missed out in the action for the last game against Mumbai Indians trained with the team ahead of their clash against Delhi Capitals.

In the last game, Ravindra Jadeja didn’t play against Mumbai Indians due to illness. Another major player, who was absent in that match was Mahendra Singh Dhoni. However, it seems like MS Dhoni is still having the rest while Ravindra Jadeja is back to train with the boys after a 2-day break.

MS Dhoni is yet to recover from back spasm:

The return of Ravindra Jadeja will certainly help Chennai Super Kings, as he can be the lethal player for the team. Jadeja can deliver those four crucial overs to the team and an excellent fielder in the outfield. Besides that, he is a finisher for the team as well, especially, in the absence of MS Dhoni.

Coming to Chennai Super Kings, this is their final game in the home venue, as far as the league stage is concerned. They already qualified for the playoffs stage but in order to remain in the top two places, they need to win against Delhi Capitals, who would love to end up on the top of the table.

If Chennai Super Kings manages to win a game against Delhi or seal a spot in the top two, they will get a chance to play in front of their crowd once again in the Qualifier – 1. In the next assignment, they will host Delhi Capitals at M Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

They will end their campaign in the group stage when they lock horns with Kings XI Punjab in the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali. It will be played on May 5th. Most probably, MS Dhoni would return to the field against Punjab if their top -2 place is in a danger.
