Jaydev Unadkat
The left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat was the second most wicket-taker (24 wickets) in IPL 2017. Observing those brilliant performances, RR bought him for the first time in 2018 IPL Auction for INR 11.50 crore. But his disappointing performances (11 wickets in 15 matches in IPL 2018) forced RR to release him before the 2019 IPL Auction.
Later, the franchise repurchased him for INR 8.4 crore from the 2019 IPL Auction. However, once again, the pacer mostly failed to perform wisely.
In this IPL season, the left-arm pacer managed to pick up ten wickets in 11 matches and he was mostly inconsistent with the ball. Though he won one Player of the Match award this season, his other performances were mostly dull.
