Well, it was a fantastic season of the Indian Premier League. The games went down to the wire on a regular occasion and always kept fans on edge of their seat. Meanwhile, the former Swashbuckling batsman of India Virender Sehwag gives his awards for each player for their performance in the tournament.
As ever, Virender Sehwag announced the awards in a cheeky way. He used all those local Indian words for the players, who performed in the tournament under pressure and entertained the fans.
MS Dhoni is the torch for CSK:
He started with the Stylish southpaw Rishabh Pant, who was termed as ”Silbitta” for smashing the world-class bowlers over the park. Then he gave ”Patkunna” for Andre Russell, who was the nightmare for the bowlers in the tournament.
For Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sehwag termed him as the ”torchlight” for Chennai Super Kings. Then for Imran Tahir, who was the leading wicket-taker of the tournament called him a ”Tight Jeans”. which works for a long time.
Then came to the fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who got the tag of Baraf Silli and then called Kagiso Rabada, who termed Tullu Pump. Further, for David Warner, who is the holder of the Orange cap, called ”Juice Machine”. Then for Hardik Pandya and Amit Mishra, he called ”Masal Dani” and ”Traffic Challan”
