Want to be a professional cricketer?
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) released 12 Players before the IPL 2020 auction, which is scheduled on 19 December this year. Virat Kohli-led team will bid on the players who can strengthen their middle-order, which has been the weakness of RCB from a long time.
RCB, who was last in the points table of the IPL 2019, has retained 13 players and remained 12 other slots to be filled in their squad. Some players which RCB has retained are former Proteas skipper AB de Villers, Devdutt Padikkal, who has impressive innings in the domestic side and all-rounder Shivam Dube who recently made the debut in the Indian team.
RCB, who has Rs. 27.90 crore in the purse, still needs experienced players to give them match-winning performance. It requires a proper middle order which can take forward the game in the absence of Virat Kohli or AB de Villers.
Here Are Three Players whom RCB should target at the IPL 2020 auction
RCB has released Dale Steyn during the Trade window, who was a replacement player in the last IPL season. The franchise needs an option in place of Proteas pacer. Thus, Australian pacer Pat Cummins can be on the list of RCB. He has drafted his name at the base price for Rs. 2 Crore in the IPL 2020 auction.
The franchise can eye on the Australian pacer who has vast experience. His presence in the team will bost the bowling department of Virat Kohli-led team. He can be a great partner to the Indian pacer Umesh Yadav.
Cummins has played for Kolkata Knight Riders (2014) and Delhi Daredevils (2017) in IPL career. In 2018 auction, he was bought by Mumbai Indians but didn’t play a match because of injury.
