Kings XI Punjab is one of the three franchises which has been part of the Indian Premier League (IPL) right since the inception of the tournament but hasn’t yet won the league yet. Under George Bailey, KXIP came close to winning the title in IPL 2014 but lost to Kolkata Knight Riders in the final.

Past few seasons haven’t been great for KXIP and they, once again, rung changes in their coaching staff and pulled off a major coup by roping in former India captain and head coach, Anil Kumble as Director of Cricket.
The India legend would want to run the franchise according to his planning and do what he thinks is best for the team. Under Kumble’s tutelage, Mumbai Indians won IPL 2013 and 2015. He would hope to continue his run with KXIP upon his return to coaching in IPL.
KXIP will have some changes their team as compared to the previous season. Today, we have a look three players which the franchise might release before IPL 2020 auction –
