In reply, RCB took a dig at RR and wrote that they can have Mr Nags, who can be seen in RCB’s camp on occasions, for Samson. Both Kohli and De Villiers are the mainstays for RCB while Samson is the find of RR, who made his debut for the franchise back in 2013.

When Rajasthan made their comeback to IPL, the franchises spent Rs 8 Crore to get the services of the youngster. Kohli, on the other hand, could be called the find of RCB. The franchise retained him ahead of IPL 2011 auction and now, he is the only player to play for just one franchise in all the editions of the T20 league.
The Indian skipper tookover as RCB’s captan in 2013 but the franchise is yet to win an IPL title. They came close to a title triumph in 2016 but lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final
Ab De Villiers had joined RCB in IPL 2011. He has been part of the Bangalore-based franchise since then and was retained in 2014 and 2018.

This year, Rajasthan made a couple of trades ahead of the deadline. They traded their captain Ajinkya Rahane to Delhi Capitals, Krishnappa Gowtham to Kings XI Punjab and Dhawal Kukarnii to Mumbai Indians. Rajasthan acquired the services of Mayank Markande, Rahul Tewatia and Ankit Rajpoot. The franchise will come up with the list of released players today.

The auction for the next season of the league takes places on December 19 in Kolkata.
