The mystery spinner from Tamil Nadu looks all but set to be released by the franchise today. The franchise spent Rs 8.4 Crores on him but Chakravarthy played only one match in which he went for 35 runs for one wicket. He was later injured and was ruled out of the tournament.

Chakravarthy hasn’t played any first-class, List A or T20 mach since then and looks set to be released by the franchise. Other franchises would be interested to buy him but this time, at a low cost.
