Glenn Maxwell (Kings XI Punjab)
While the UAE hosted the first half of the IPL 2014, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) cricketer Glenn Maxwell was the most successful batsman in that part as he scored 300 runs in just five matches (average 60.00), including three fifties. He finished that IPL tournament as the third most run-scorer (552 runs) while his team finished as the runners-up, their best IPL results till the date. Maxwell won the Most Valuable Player award in that IPL edition.
While Maxwell has returned for the KXIP for the IPL 2020, the franchise is expecting the similar magic in the forthcoming IPL season. After playing 69 IPL matches, Maxwell has scored 1397 runs (average 22.90; strike-rate 161.13) and bagged 16 wickets. Also, we can’t forget his incredible fielding efforts in any situation.
