The 30-year-old West Indies left-arm pacer Sheldon Cottrell will experience his first IPL season in the upcoming IPL 2020. His base price in the IPL 2020 auction was INR 50 lakh. While Rajasthan Royals (RR) began his bid process, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) joined next in that battle. Later, Delhi Capitals (DC) replaced RR and started their bid from INR 2.40 crore. But finally, KXIP won that battle after putting their final bid of INR 8.50 crore.
In recent times, Sheldon Cottrell has earned the limelight for his consistent bowling performances and also for the salute celebration. He has taken 117 wickets in 83 T20 matches, including 30 wickets in 22 T20Is.
