3. Chris Morris (Royal Challengers Bangalore) – INR 10 crore
The 32-year-old South African bowling all-rounder Chris Morris had the base price of INR 1.5 crore. While Rajasthan Royals (RR) began the bidding process, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) put the next two bids and started their fight. While KXIP walked out after RCB’s bid reach to INR 8 crore, Mumbai Indians (MI) created a new battle. However, desperate RCB finally achieved success after securing him for INR 10 crore.
Chris Morris made his IPL debut in 2013 when he played for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Later, he played for RR in 2015 and the Delhi franchises from 2016 to 2019. After playing 61 IPL matches, Morris has picked up 69 wickets and also scored 517 runs (average 27.21 and strike-rate 157.62) including two half-centuries.
