The cricket world will keenly follow the IPL 2020 to understand the future of MS Dhoni. The former World T20 and World Cup-winning captain Dhoni played his last recognised cricket match during the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (against New Zealand at Manchester on 10th July 2019), where he played a brilliant 50-run knock but failed to secure the victory for the Indian team.

Since then, the senior wicket-keeper batsman has made himself unavailable for the national team selection, who scored 17092 runs in 535 international matches (2004-2019) with an average of 44.74.

However, the successful Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain Dhoni is ready to lead his franchise side again in the IPL 2020.

Under his captaincy, the CSK have always finished in the top four positions in the IPL, including winning three trophies out of eight finals. The franchise is dreaming for another successful season in the IPL 2020 under the leadership of Dhoni.
