The uncapped player winning Orange Cap

Australian cricketer Shaun Marsh amazingly introduced himself during the first edition of the IPL (2008). Serving for the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the left-handed batsman Marsh scored 616 runs 11 matches during the IPL 2008, with an average of 68.44. During that tournament, Marsh hit one century and five half-centuries, and his highest score was 115 runs (against Rajasthan Royals at Mohali on 28th May 2008). While he finished as the most run-scorer of that tournament, Marsh won the Orange Cap.
Shaun Marsh made his international debut after the IPL 2008. While he is the only uncapped player to win the Orange Cap, this record is unlikely to be broken in the IPL 2020.
