The inaugural IPL trophy winners Rajasthan Royals have strong overseas players like Steven Smith, Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer etc. This list has now been stretched due to the addition of the pacers Andrew Tye, Tom Curran, and Oshane Thomas. Though Stokes disappointed in the last season, he is a different player at present who hardly remains off-form for a long time. Also, the experienced IPL cricketer David Miller has joined the side which can strengthen their middle-order batting.

However, their most run-scorer Ajinkya Rahane is not anymore present with this team as he was traded out to Delhi Capitals during the pre-auction transfer window.

The Indian cricketers in the present Rajasthan Royals batting line-up are talented enough, but they have to prove themselves in the upcoming tournament.

On the other hand, the left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat and right-arm pacer Varun Aaron are the crucial names in their Indian bowling line-up. While they hugely underperformed in the last season, Unadkat even underperformed in the last two editions, they must have to improve their performances in the upcoming IPL 2020.

The leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal hugely impressed in the last season as he finished as the fourth most wicket-taker in the IPL 2019 with 20 wickets. The Rajasthan franchise is hoping the similar performances from him in the upcoming new IPL season.
