Kings XI Punjab (KXIP)
In the last two seasons, KXIP batting was too much depended on their opening partner KL Rahul and Chris Gayle. Their middle-order batting was the big concern due to inconsistent performances. Though the experienced cricketer David Miller is not more attached with the KXIP team, the presence of Glenn Maxwell and James Neesham can help to improve their middle-order batting.
Except for Mohammed Shami, the other Indian pacers of this side are not experienced enough. They also have the quality spinners, including the Afghanistan off-spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman. But except Mujeeb, the other spinners will have to prove in the IPL tournament.
Also, KXIP will begin the IPL 2020 under the new captain KL Rahul. Too many responsibilities can affect his game.
