In the 21st match of the IPL 2020, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are playing against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium (Abu Dhabi).
Chennai Super Kings are playing their sixth match in the IPL 2020 while it is the fifth match for Kolkata Knight Riders in the ongoing IPL edition. Both teams have won twice each in this season while KKR have suffered two defeats and CSK have lost three consecutive matches.

Kolkata Knight Riders captain Dinesh Karthik won the toss and decided to bat first. They have brought up the unchanged playing XI for this match.

Karthik said, “We’ll bat first. In the last two games when we batted first we did a good job. We have gone back and see what we can do. We’re playing the same XI.”
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni confirmed that they made one alteration in the playing XI. Karn Sharma came in the squad replacing Piyush Chawla.

Dhoni said after losing the toss, “We’ve been chasing all this while anyway. We’ve had a few bad games and a few good ones, but we’re ready to do anything. As the tournament progresses, you adapt to new questions and that is what happened in the last game. He openers’ approach was great to see. We have one change – Karn Sharma instead of Piyush Chawla.”
