In the sixth match of the IPL 2020, Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) is facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at Dubai International Cricket Stadium (Dubai). It will be the second match for both these teams in this tournament.

In the Super Over, Delhi Capitals (3/0) beat the Kings XI Punjab (2/2).

In the last two seasons, KXIP always suffered defeats against RCB as RCB have won all their last four matches against KXIP. KXIP claimed their last victory against RCB in the IPL 2017 at Bengaluru (5th May 2017), where they won by 19 runs.
IPL 2020, Match 6: Kings XI Punjab vs Royal Challengers Bangalore (KXIP vs RCB) – Toss Report
Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to field first. RCB have decided to start this game with the unchanged playing XI.
After winning the toss, Kohli said, “It’s a fresh wicket. Bit of dew in the second half and when the ball gets wet it’s hard to execute. That’s been a big factor. We have done really well defending a total less than 170 and seeing the bowlers execute their plans so well.”
After losing the toss, KXIP captain KL Rahul confirmed that they have made two changes from the last playing XI. James Neesham and Murugan Ashwin have replaced Chris Jordan and Krishnappa Gowtham.
Rahul said, “There were a lot of positives and it was the first game. Mayank’s batting and our team’s fight was heartening. Jordan isn’t playing, Ashwin and Neesham comes in. Chris Gayle will come in at the right time, don’t worry about it. It was tough sitting at home and so we are grateful to get this oppotunity to play. The guys are enjoying themselves despite the rustiness in the first game.”
