No saliva

As saliva easily transmits the coronavirus, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently banned to use saliva to shine the ball for the interim period. If the players still use saliva on the ball, the on-field umpires not only clean up the ball, but they also give a warning to the team.
Even after two warnings in an innings, if the team still makes the same mistake in the same innings, the umpires will award a five-run penalty to the oppositions.
We will see the similar rules in the IPL 2020. So, the bowlers can’t apply the saliva on the ball during the matches.
However, the bowlers can continue the process of using sweat on the ball as there is no confirmed chance to transmit the coronavirus.
